My Feedly Reader is able to connect to my learning with one or more items. On a daily basis, I try to check my Feedly Reader for updated news and blogs that I am interested in. Besides this, in this course I had followed a few other classmates blog. With reading with they had on the blog, I have gathered another point of view from the same questions that I have answered in that certain week. Furthermore, I am also able to learn more from what the blog writes. This also helps me gain a better understanding of the blogger. In the future, the Feedly Reader will continue to connect to one more items to my learning in scholarly articles or other articles that I have to read in order to complete my assignments.
In week five, the main focus was on Twitter within the social media network. Personally, I have used twitter for a few years now. I mostly use twitter to tweet random tweets and follow people on twitter. Currently, my tweets are a bit over four thousand five hundred tweets. I am overwhelmed by the amount of tweets I have tweeted. However, this is the amount that I have in total as of right now. Twitter is not something new to me, but I have recently started to link various social media networks to my twitter account. With this said, posts from instagram, wordpress, or tumblr is linked to my twitter. Moreover, with twitter, it is useful to my educational activities because it allows instant notifications from people I follow.
Twitter can be simply added to my PLE through various categories. First of all, it can be added to communicating in the social media content section. Secondly, it can be added into the practicing digital responsibility and literacy such as communicating respectfully, content management, and using technology properly. Besides the two discussed, it can also be included in synthesizing and creating. This can be implemented by the tweets that are created by users. Therefore, I will add Twitter into my PLE diagram that I have started in week 2.
Week five is nearly halfway through the course. With this course I have learnt that becoming a digital citizen has a lot to learn than just its appearance. For example, pinterest was one that I have started the account but did not really discover much about it. With this course, I learnt more about pinterest. Besides this, in this course I have learnt that there can be various tools that can be used to implemented in one's learning. An example of this is the Feedly Reader. Feedly Reader was first introduced to me in this course and I have learnt that it is useful in multiple ways. All in all, the world wide web is constantly changing and there are lots more to learn about being a digital citizen and gaining digital literacy.

First I would like to say WOW! You have most definitely tweeted a lot! I'm one of those people however who have never really used twitter. I never knew what to say or what to share, however I have really enjoyed learning about it this week. I wish that I took advantage of it earlier, maybe not for as much of the social aspect, but for the educational one. I never realized how much you could learn from twitter. I feel like it has a social media name to it, and when it's talked about it is usually in terms of famous people and what they are doing, however its value in education could also be really great! I think that you adding twitter to your PLE would be great, because now that you've had the chance to explore other uses for twitter, i'm sure your opportunities will now be limitless and your tweet count will definitely grow!
